Stocks discussed: 

  • Woolworths Group (ASX: WOW): FY profit drops but comes in line with analysts’ forecasts as it slashed shelf prices to compete with rival Coles. Special dividend of 40 cents a share declared, alongside a 57 cent a share final payout.
  • Fortescue (ASX: FMG): FY24 underlying earnings up 3% on PCP, with a larger-than-expected final dividend of $0.89/share declared
  • Flight Centre (ASX: FLT): Reports record full year earnings, surpassing pre-CIVID levels with profit up 194%, revenue soared nearly 19% with a full year dividend of 30 cents a share declared
