What are the requirements to open a nabtrade account?

You can open an account to trade in your own name (an individual account) eg John Smith, joint names (a joint account) eg John and Mary Smith, on behalf of a company or organisation eg XYZ Pty Ltd. You can also open an account if you’d like to trade on behalf of a trust or a Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF).

To apply you will need to:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be an Australian Resident for tax purposes
  • Be a director or trustee of the business
  • Have an Australian mobile number
